Production Hygiene Operative 4 on 4 off Days

Join our kitchen located in Dulcote, Wells. Your main responsibility is to ensure that all areas of our production kitchen are maintained as cleanly and safely as possible. Working hours are 4 days on, 4 days off, 6am‑6pm.

• Maintain cleanliness and safety throughout the production kitchen.
• Carry out sanitisation procedures on equipment, surfaces and production areas using appropriate chemicals.
• Identify and address potential hygiene issues promptly to prevent contamination.
• Collaborate with production staff and supervisors to report concerns and uphold a cohesive hygiene standard.
• Diagnose root causes of hygiene‑related incidents, troubleshoot equipment and implement corrective actions.

• Knowledge of food safety regulations (desired), e.g. HACCP.
• Experience in sanitisation procedures and safe chemical use.
• Strong attention to detail in hygiene practices.
• Effective teamwork and communication skills.
• Problem‑solving ability within a food production environment.

• Competitive salary of £12.28 per hour (incl. all premiums), rising to £12.86 after 3 months probation.
