Job Introduction

We are currently expanding our Assembly Day Shift team and are looking for amazing people to join us.

Assembly Overview

Our Assembly Team play the all-important role of assembling our dishes so they start to look a little more like the dishes you know and love. With all of our dish components prepared and cooked, it’s time to bring them all together. The team manage the assembly of our dishes which might mean bring the layers together in our lasagnes or maybe adding our delicious sauce and a sprinkling of cheese to our well-loved mac and cheese.

Working

Hours

Monday – Thursday – 6am – 4pm

Role Responsibilities
  • Accurately weighing portions to be added to each dish
  • Accurately adding and arranging dish components
  • Replenishing the dish trays
  • Maintaining high hygiene levels and keeping a tidy workspace
  • Maintaining food preparation records and logs
  • Conducting quality checks to ensure that the Bigham standards are met
  • Carrying out effective and accurate shift handovers
  • Flagging any issues with the equipment within your area
  • Work as an integral part of the team towards the completion of the daily plan
The Ideal Candidate
  • High attention to detail and a strong quality focus

  • A desire to develop your skills and work as part of a team

This role will require you to be physically active and spend most of your shift on your feet.

Experience of working in a food handling environment as a production operative would be beneficial however, isn’t essential as we will provide food safety and quality training for those who don’t have prior experience.

  • A competitive salary of £12.88 per hour
