Senior Team Leader – Packing & Assembly PM

Overview

As a Senior Team Leader, you'll take ownership of safety, quality, productivity and people performance across a key production area. You'll lead by example, coach and develop Team Leaders and Operatives, and play a pivotal role in driving continuous improvement across the operation.

• Monday – Friday, 4:00pm – Midnight – £23.95 per hour inclusive of all premiums (equivalent to over £42k per year)
• Monday – Friday, 5:00pm – 1:00am – £24.63 per hour inclusive of all premiums (equivalent to over £43k per year)

• Lead, motivate and develop high‑performing teams.
• Deliver daily safety, quality and production targets.
• Manage labour, resources and operational performance within your area.
• Drive GMP, Health & Safety and quality standards.
• Coach Team Leaders and Operatives to maximise capability and engagement.
• Resolve operational challenges and drive continuous improvement.
• Work closely with wider departments to ensure successful delivery of the production plan.
• Support succession planning, training and employee development.

• Previous leadership experience within manufacturing, food production, logistics or an operational environment.
• A proven ability to lead, motivate and develop teams.
• Strong people‑management and communication skills.
• A hands‑on leadership style with a passion for achieving results.
• The ability to make decisions, solve problems and perform under pressure.
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
