Mental Health CPN – Band 6

Location:

Tunbridge Wells, Kent.

Pay: PAYE: £20.17 per hour. Umbrella: £23.66 per hour.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide mental health assessments, including risk assessments and care planning.
  • Offer one-to-one support to individuals with mental health conditions in the community.
  • Deliver therapeutic interventions and support recovery goals.
  • Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Monitor and review care plans to ensure the highest standards of care.
  • Provide crisis management and intervention as needed.

Requirements
  • Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) with current NMC registration.
  • Previous experience as a Band 6 CPN, ideally within a community setting.
  • Strong clinical knowledge and skills in mental health care.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with service users.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
  • Enhanced DBS check (we can assist if required).
