CAD Design Specialist

Primary Purpose

The primary purpose of this position is to provide CAD support to Product Care and Research and Development (R&D).

7:30 am – 3:30 pm (Monday – Friday)

$31.96 – $39.95

• Basic design work including fit studies, tolerance studies, etc.
• CAD support based on red‑lined drawings.
• Perform other assignments as directed by local management.
• Interact and support other functional areas of the department such as Quality Assurance and Model Shop.

• Associate’s degree in CAD or a related field required.
• Minimum of two years’ experience in the field of expertise required.
• Strong mathematical skills required.
• Computer‑Aided Drafting experience required.
• Solid modeling experience required.
• Solid Works experience required.
• Cosmos experience preferred.
• Practical experience or understanding of woodworking, metal working, and plastic manufacturing preferred.
• Demonstrates proficiency in all office systems/skills, Microsoft Office.
• Previous experience with the use of an ERP system preferred (SAP preferred).
• Must be extremely detail and accuracy oriented.
• Must be process oriented.
• Must have good organizational skills.
• Must be a good decision maker and problem solver.
• Must be an excellent communicator.
• Must present a positive and professional appearance and image.
• Must be an independent self‑starter who is capable of functioning in a team environment.
• Ability to perform the essential functions assigned to the position.
