Qualifications- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management/Hospitality or equivalent industry experience
- Experience as a General Manager or Assistant General Manager (preferred)
- Experience with in the hospitality industry
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proven strong leadership skills
- Ability to manage, direct, and complete assigned duties
- Excellent computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite)
- Ability to prioritize, manage, and delegate efficiently
- Flexible schedule
- Strong communicator with the board and employees
- Strong leadership
- Conflict resolution
- Time management ability to effectively manage 2 properties, 15 minutes from each other
- Overseeing the operations functions of the Resort
- Processing and submitting payroll to Human Resources
- Holding regular briefings and meetings with all department heads
- Managing all departments and working closely with heads daily
- Accountable for department responsibilities and guest complaints
- Handling service recovery procedures
- Preparation, presentation, and achievement of the resort's Annual Operating Budget, Marketing and Sales Plan, and Capital Budget
- Managing profitability, ensuring revenue and guest satisfaction targets are met and exceeded
- Leading capital projects, customer service initiatives, and refurbishment
- Ensuring full compliance with Resort Operating controls, SOPs, policies, procedures, and service standards
- Preparing monthly financial reports for Owners and Board Members
- Providing effective leadership to all Resort Team Members
- Responding to audits and maintaining quality of operations
- Ensuring legal compliance with Occupational Health & Safety Act, fire regulations, etc.
- Available to travel on company business for offsite training or New Business transitions (average 1‑2 week assignments)
