Mainely Ticks provides tick and mosquito spray services to residential and commercial clients in accordance with industry/company standards, rules and regulations. We offer extensive training for our Seasonal Spray Technicians who deliver valuable service to customers every day. We offer a $1,000 sign-on bonus for applicants who obtain a valid Maine Pesticide Applicator License after 30 days of employment, or a $2,000 sign-on bonus after 30 days of employment for applicants who already hold a Maine Category 7E license.

Where and how will you serve customers?

• The ability to identify areas of concern using a map of the property provided to you such as: areas of standing water, property lines, gardens, environmentally sensitive areas.
• Operate a company vehicle safely and ensure cleanliness of the vehicle and equipment
• Communicate with customers by setting expectations and walking them through the process to ensure satisfaction
• Serve as a problem solver to meet all of your customers’ needs
• Complete all required service-related documentation on a hand-held device
• Apply materials safely and effectively in accordance with all label, State, and Federal laws and/or regulations.
• Respond quickly to unscheduled requests for service.
• Attain and maintain State Pesticide Applicator licenses required by company in a timely manner.

What do you need to be successful?

No Experience Required – we’ll train you!

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Valid driver’s license required
• We will consider for employment all qualified applicants, including those with criminal histories, in a manner consistent with the requirements of applicable state and local laws.

What will my work environment be like?

Candidates must meet physical job requirements and safely perform the job duties with or without accommodations:

• Safely use a ladder within the manufacturer's weight capacity
• Lift and carry up to 500 feet of hose.
• Wear personal protective equipment (PPE) which sometimes requires an OSHA-compliant respirator
• Willing to work in different types of weather conditions
