As a Route Driver for Darling Ingredients
, you are responsible for collecting and transporting raw materials from our customers that include small family farms, larger hog confinements, locker plants, and restaurants up to large‑scale slaughterhouses and food processors back to our facility in Blue Earth, MN
.

• Monday – Friday, some Saturday.
• Flexible Start Time: 5:00 am – 7:00 am.
• Work Hours Per Day: 10–11 hours.

• Must be able to handle outside elements year‑round.
• Collect and inspect products at pick‑up for any foreign material at customer location.
• Maintain an Electronic DOT log.
• Operate vehicle in accordance with company, federal, state, and local regulations.
• Conduct pre‑ and post‑trip vehicle inspections; observe company policy, procedures and safety rules.
• Maintain excellent customer relations by providing quality, professional service at all times.
• Complete all company‑required paperwork in accordance with company policies on a daily basis.
• Attend all safety meetings; may be asked to serve on Safety Committee.
• All other duties as assigned by management.

• Must be 21 years of age.
• Valid Class A or Class B driver’s license.
• Must be registered on /

• Prior route experience within a customer‑oriented environment.
• Ability to work well with internal staff and external customers.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide whole numbers.

• Frequently required to walk, stand, sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crawl, and crouch.
• Occasionally lifts up to 75 lbs.
• Occasionally required to load deadstock and/or bins with assistance from a wench on their vehicle.
• Regularly required to reach with hands and arms.

• Job functions will be carried out in a commercial motor vehicle, customer locations, and plant environment.
