Graduate, Education / Teaching, Youth Development
Job Description & How to Apply Below
Graduate looking to make a difference?
Or perhaps you've worked in sales, customer service, education, recruitment, or supported people with autism or learning disabilities through paid work or volunteering?
If you're looking for a career where you can genuinely change lives, this could be the opportunity you've been waiting for.
This charity is launching a pioneering employment programme supporting people with autism and learning disabilities into work. You'll help learners build confidence, develop independence and secure opportunities that can transform their futures.
You'll receive support from an experienced manager two days per week, but this is very much your project to drive forward. We're looking for someone who is proactive, entrepreneurial and enjoys making things happen.
This isn't a role where opportunities simply land in your lap. You'll need to build relationships with local employers, understand the aspirations and challenges of the people you support, advocate on their behalf and create opportunities that might not otherwise exist.
You'll spend your time:
Building relationships with learners and understanding their goals
Engaging local employers and creating employment opportunities
Delivering employability support and job coaching
Working alongside parents, carers and support networks
Supporting learners in the workplace and helping them succeed
You don't need Employment Advisor experience. We can teach you the employability side. What matters is your ability to build relationships, communicate confidently, solve problems and motivate others.
