Position: Industry Trainer (WA) Youth and Schools Programs

The Role

We are currently seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Trainer to join our expanding team in Welshpool. This position offers contract arrangements tailored to individual preferences.

Our ideal candidate for this role will derive satisfaction and joy from guiding the students towards achieving their career aspirations and will bring an enthusiastic approach to fostering a secure learning environment for children from varied backgrounds.

Requirements
  • Police clearance or ability to obtain one prior to employment
  • Must have Construction Industry experience
  • Working with children check or ability to obtain one prior to employment
  • Ability to engage with young adults
  • Engaging in and mentoring of students
  • Creating and maintaining student records
  • Ability to communicate effectively.
  • Evaluate courses, programs, assessment tools and processes in conjunction with head trainer and assessor
  • Staying up to date with industry requirements, including current legislation and technological advances

To be considered for the role you should have the following:
  • Construction Industry experience
  • Enjoy working with students/youth as young as 15 and have a coach/mentor mentality
  • TAE
    40116 Certificate IV Training and Assessment (or higher) – this is desired but not required for the role - We can enrol you and assist to achieve
  • National Police Check required or ability to obtain one prior to employment
  • A pre‑employment medical required
