Regional Manager - Care and Support Services

Location: South Wales (Powys)

Hours: Full time (38 hours per week)

Salary: 38,000 - 45,000

Vetro Recruitment is seeking a motivated and experienced Regional Manager for a well‑established not‑for‑profit organisation dedicated to providing tailored support to adults with learning disabilities. The Regional Manager position offers an exciting opportunity to lead and develop support services across Wales, ensuring high standards of care and compliance with regulatory frameworks.

The Regional Manager will be responsible for managing Supported Living managers overseeing support teams across multiple locations. The role involves working closely with Supported Living Managers to service delivery, staff recruitment, and performance evaluation. The successful candidate will ensure compliance with regulator requirements, including CIW, local authority commissioners, and Continuing Health Care (CHC), as well as identifying opportunities for regional growth.

Key responsibilities include collaborating with senior management to meet organisational objectives, conducting quality assurance visits, and championing person‑centred support that promotes independence, choice, and autonomy for people supported. The Regional Manager will also play a vital role in policy review processes and leading initiatives aimed at service improvement and expansion.

The ideal candidate will possess substantial leadership experience within the care sector, a strong understanding of safeguarding, compliance standards, and experience with IT and database systems for operational reporting. A compassionate yet professional approach is essential, with the ability to motivate and develop teams and contribute strategically to the organisation's growth.

Candidates should demonstrate a genuine passion for supporting individuals with learning disabilities, along with creativity and vision to drive positive change. Experience managing multi‑site services and knowledge of Ofsted or similar regulatory standards will be advantageous.
