Opportunity to join a Tier 1 contractor as a Quantity Surveyor in Welwyn Garden City.

As part of their London & The Home Counties division, you will contribute to their success in various markets such as education, public sector frameworks, civic buildings, and healthcare.

They are currently expanding the team and are looking for a Quantity Surveyor to assist with an education scheme in Harrow, school/sports and leisure. This is a JCT scheme worth £70m and is set to run for 3 years. Mixed concrete and steel frame, corium cladding, swimming pools and sports hall.

You will be office‑based in Welwyn until April 2026.

Line of report - Commercial Lead.

• Play a key role in providing commercial expertise, ensuring the successful delivery of projects while meeting commercial targets.
• Offer timely reports, advice, and support to the management team.

• HNC or BSc in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
• Contracting experience.
• Strong knowledge of collating and/or producing site records necessary for interim and final account payments and cost reports, including materials received records.
• Leisure or education sector experience would be an advantage.
