Cover Supervisor – Welwyn Garden City

Keep Education are currently recruiting for an enthusiastic and dependable Cover Supervisor to work within Secondary Schools in Welwyn Garden City and the surrounding areas. This role is ideal for graduates, aspiring teachers, or experienced classroom supervisors looking to make a positive impact in education.

Key Responsibilities

* Supervise classes during teacher absences, ensuring that students remain focused and engaged.

* Deliver pre-set lesson materials and manage classroom behaviour effectively.

* Support students in completing assigned work, promoting a positive learning environment.

* Follow school safeguarding, behaviour, and health & safety policies.

* Provide feedback to teaching staff on student progress and classroom activity.

Education & Experience

* Minimum of GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths.

* A-Levels or a Degree preferred.

* Previous experience working with young people or within an educational setting (e.g. Teaching Assistant, Sports Coach, Youth Worker) is desirable.

* Classroom management experience or training is advantageous.
