Leaning Support Assistant

We are currently seeking a committed and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a supportive special needs school in Welwyn Garden City. This is a full-time role available for an immediate start and offers a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of young people with additional needs.

The Role:

You will support pupils with special educational needs, working closely with teaching staff to help students engage in learning, build confidence, and develop both academically and socially. Support may be provided on a one-to-one basis or in small groups.

The Ideal Candidate :

Has experience working with children or young people with special educational needs, or is eager to learn and develop in this area

Is patient, reliable, and passionate about supporting students

Can work effectively as part of a team

Holds a valid DBS certificate or is willing to apply for one
