The school supports pupils with a range of complex learning needs and is looking for someone who can provide compassionate, consistent and hands‑on support.

  • Providing 1:1 and small‑group support both inside and outside the classroom.
  • Helping pupils develop communication, social, sensory and emotional‑regulation skills.
  • Encouraging independence and supporting positive behaviour strategies.
  • Assisting with personal care, physiotherapy and other individual support requirements where necessary.
  • Working closely with teachers, therapists and other professionals to meet pupils' needs.
  • Helping to maintain a safe, structured and stimulating learning environment.
What We're Looking For
  • Previous experience supporting children or young people with ASD, PMLD and/or SLD.
  • A patient, caring and resilient approach.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • The ability to build positive relationships with pupils and colleagues.
  • An understanding of safeguarding, inclusion and equal opportunities.
  • An Enhanced Child & Adult DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one.
  • Reliable access to Welwyn Garden City.
Why Work with Inspire EHC?
  • A dedicated Inspire EHC consultant providing ongoing support.
  • Access to 20+ free CPD training courses.
  • Weekly PAYE pay with no umbrella fees.
  • Support and guidance if you're looking to secure a permanent position.
  • A professional, fair and inclusive recruitment experience.
