Morson Edge is looking for an experienced Streetworks Coordinator to join a leading UK civil engineering and infrastructure contractor on a contract basis in St Albans. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a Regional Street Works team supporting major infrastructure schemes and ensuring full compliance with the New Roads and Street Works Act 1991 (NRSWA).

• Issue and manage Streetworks permits via the Street Manager system through to completion
• Ensure works are compliant with NRSWA legislation and permit conditions
• Coordinate Section 50 licences
• Liaise with Local Authorities and third parties regarding road closures, parking suspensions and related requirements
• Analyse and respond to Fixed Penalty Notices (FPNs) and Section 74 charges
• Maintain accurate schedules and programme interfaces
• Respond to Highway Authority comments and modification requests
• Support reporting, KPIs, audits and project review meetings

• Strong working knowledge of NRSWA
• Experience managing Streetworks permits within utilities or civil engineering
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to meet deadlines
• Confident communicator experienced in liaising with Project Managers and Local Authorities

• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a wider team
