Job Duties

In this role, you will:

  • Assess the needs of service users in partnership with them and their families.
  • Formulate and implement personalized care and support plans based on individual needs.
  • Administer prescribed medications and monitor service users for side effects and responses.
  • Carry out physical health checks, including monitoring blood pressure, glucose, and weight.
  • Maintain comprehensive clinical records and prepare relevant reports as necessary.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to improve the quality of service user experiences and interventions.
  • Respond to crises and emotionally demanding situations with empathy and professionalism.
  • Lead the clinical care for an assigned caseload of service users.
Job Requirements

To apply, candidates should meet the following qualifications:

  • Education
    :
    Hold an RMN or a Dip/BSc (Hons) in Mental Health Nursing.
  • Experience
    : A minimum of two years of post-registration experience, including one year at Band 5.
  • Skills
    :
    Strong communication skills and the ability to work within a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Knowledge
    :
    Up-to-date awareness of mental health legislation, ethical issues, and safety protocols.
  • Autonomy
    :
    Ability to work independently while adhering to professional guidelines and standards.
