About the role
Tesco Mobile Ireland (TMI) is undergoing a very exciting transition period. A key focus on technology security within TMI, we are looking to recruit a dedicated Cyber Security Manager. The role will be based in our Welwyn Garden City office with frequent (monthly) travel to and from our Dublin office.

You will be responsible for

• Being the face of security, maintaining strong stakeholder relationships, evangelising security, and finding opportunities for security to add value within the business.
• Understanding the security posture of the business and its processes to effectively engage them in security improvement recommendations and cyber‑risk management.
• Presenting risk‑based security positions and recommendations to management and executive teams.
• Driving information security improvement plans, incorporating Tesco Group security requirements.
• Ensuring adequate registration, analysis, resolution, and reporting of privacy and information security incidents.

You will need

• Broad and deep cyber/Information Security expertise sufficient to engage with, and provide value and service, to a range of stakeholders.
• Strong working knowledge of security management principles and practices, including vulnerability management, event management, application security, identity management, and incident response.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and ability to drive change.
• Proven track record of engaging with diverse stakeholders and building a security culture.
• Logical thinker with a strong analytical background.
• Ideally previous hands‑on role in one of these domains: networks, sysadmin, software developer, security analyst.
• Security qualifications such as CISM, CISSP, CISA or equivalent are desirable.
• Project management experience.
