Are you ready to take your data science career to the next level? Our client is looking for a passionate and hands-on Senior Data Scientist to join their Journey Insights team! In this exciting role, you'll work with both structured and unstructured data, unlocking insights that enhance customer journeys and operational opportunities.
What You'll Do:- Own the Delivery:
Lead end-to-end data science solutions from problem framing to deployment, ensuring your work delivers tangible results. - Deep-Dive Analysis:
Use hypothesis-driven approaches to uncover customer journey opportunities and translate findings into actionable recommendations. - Innovative Solutions:
Combine structured datasets with unstructured sources (like text and customer interaction data) to create robust features and predictive models. - NLP & GenAI Expertise:
Apply traditional NLP techniques and cutting-edge GenAI tools for text classification, summarization, entity extraction, and more. - Data Pipelines:
Build, validate, and optimise data pipelines and model code, ensuring performance and security. - Stakeholder
Collaboration:
Work closely with stakeholders to define success metrics and turn complex outputs into clear, decision-ready insights. - Mentorship:
Share best practises and support your team through constructive code and model reviews.
Required:
- Proven expertise in delivering end-to-end data science solutions that yield practical outcomes.
- Experience in combining structured and unstructured datasets for modelling and analysis.
- Strong background in NLP and GenAI techniques, including text classification, summarization, and embeddings.
- Advanced proficiency in SQL, Python, and PySpark, with a focus on software development best practises.
- Experience deploying data science models in a cloud environment (Azure preferred).
- Familiarity with database management (including graph databases) and integrating diverse data sources.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex ideas in a clear, non-technical manner.
Experience:
- Knowledge of PyTorch, MLflow, DBT, and Databricks AI functions is a plus!
