Flexible Care Job in Peel Court, College Way, Welwyn Garden City, Hertfordshire.

Help older adults live safely, independently, and with dignity — all in a secure and vibrant retirement community.

• Day shifts: £16.25 per hour
• Night shifts: £12.65 per hour
• Weekend premium:
  Additional £1 per hour
• Supplemental: £10.80 per sleep shift
• Flexible day, evening, and weekend shifts
• Scheduled in coordination with the Estate and Operations Managers

As a Relief Duty Manager, you will:

• Support residents’ safety, wellbeing, and independence
• Respond to emergency calls during night shifts
• Oversee and assist with day‑to‑day care tasks
• Coordinate and support engaging social activities
• Foster a positive, welcoming environment for residents and staff

• Experience in a senior care role
• Minimum Level 2 Health and Social Care qualification (or equivalent)
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• A caring, friendly, and reliable attitude
• Team leadership experience is a bonus
