Hours:
Monday–Friday, 8:30am–4:00pm
Pay:
From £89 per day (PAYE)

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming mainstream primary school in Wembley, supporting a child with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), behavioural challenges and speech and language needs.
Key Responsibilities- Provide 1:1 support for a pupil with ASD, behavioural needs and speech and language difficulties.
- Implement strategies to support emotional regulation and positive behaviour.
- Work closely with the class teacher, SENCO and external professionals (e.g. speech and language therapists).
- Support learning activities both in and out of the classroom.
- Encourage independence, communication and social interaction.
- Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (essential).
- Level 2 TA candidates with relevant SEND experience will also be considered.
- Previous UK primary school experience (essential).
- Experience supporting children with ASD and challenging behaviour.
- Understanding of speech and language needs.
- Calm, patient and resilient approach.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
