Teaching Assistant Apprenticeship Level 3

Salary: £8.00 per hour for your first year, then could increase depending on your age

Preston Park School is looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant Apprentice to join their team. The school prides itself on maintaining exceptionally high standards in all aspects of school life, from learning and behaviour to personal development and wellbeing. This is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable classroom experience while working towards a nationally recognised Level 3 Teaching Assistant Apprenticeship.

Preston Park School College Road, Wembley, Brent, HA9 8RJ

£8.00 per hour

30 hours per week

Monday to Friday

As a Teaching Assistant Apprentice, you will:
  • Assist pupils with their learning and development.
  • Provide additional support to students who may need extra help.
  • Learn classroom management and behaviour support techniques.
  • Help plan activities and learning objectives.
  • Supervise classroom activities and small group work.
  • Encourage pupil participation and confidence.
  • Work collaboratively with teaching staff to support student progress.
  • Training and Support
  • You will work towards the Level 3 Teaching Assistant Apprenticeship Standard while gaining practical experience in the school environment.
The programme includes:
  • Online apprenticeship training
  • Dedicated apprenticeship tutor support
  • Monthly remote tutorials and reviews
  • Ongoing workplace mentoring
