Are you an enthusiastic and caring Teaching Assistant looking for a new opportunity in a supportive school in Wembley?

We are currently recruiting for a Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming school environment, supporting pupils with their learning, development and wider educational needs.

The Role

As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and other support staff to help pupils make progress and engage positively with their learning.

Your responsibilities will include:
  • Supporting pupils in the classroom and providing one-to-one or small-group support.
  • Assisting teachers with the delivery of engaging learning activities.
  • Providing additional support to pupils who may have SEND or additional learning needs.
  • Helping pupils develop confidence, independence and positive behaviour.
  • Supporting pupils with their social, emotional and academic development.
  • Monitoring and reporting on pupil progress where appropriate.
  • Creating a safe, inclusive and positive learning environment.
The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for someone who is:

  • Passionate about supporting children and young people.
  • Patient, caring and approachable.
  • Confident working with pupils of different abilities and backgrounds.
  • Able to build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
  • Reliable, organised and able to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Ideally experienced working within a school or educational setting.
  • Experience supporting pupils with SEND is desirable but not essential.
