Shift Leader – FM Service Provider – Wembley, London – Up to £58,000 per annum

CBW is recruiting an experienced Shift Leader to join a prestigious multi-tenant commercial campus in Wembley. This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong engineer to work within a modern, technically challenging environment, delivering first-class building maintenance across a vibrant mixed-use estate occupied by a diverse range of commercial tenants.

A valid HV Authorised Person (AP) qualification is a mandatory requirement for this position.

Hours of Work
Continental Shift Pattern – Days & Nights (7 on, 7 off rotation)
Key Duties
Lead, motivate and support the on-site shift engineering team.
Ensure all Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance tasks are completed efficiently using the site's CAFM system.
Carry out hands-on electrical and/or mechanical maintenance when required.
Diagnose and rectify faults on plant and equipment, minimising downtime and ensuring business continuity.
Monitor the quality of maintenance activities, documentation and housekeeping standards across the site.
Manage spare parts and ensure critical stock levels are maintained.
Maintain accurate maintenance records, reports and job documentation.
Prepare, review and implement Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS) to ensure safe systems of work.
Support the delivery of a safe, compliant and high-performing building environment.
Act as the site's HV Authorised Person, carrying out switching operations and ensuring compliance with all electrical safety procedures.

Requirements
Fully qualified in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (City & Guilds, NVQ Level 3 or equivalent).
Current HV Authorised Person (AP) qualification (essential).
Previous experience working in a critical environment such as commercial offices, banking, data centres, healthcare, or other high-profile facilities.
Strong understanding of electrical and mechanical building services.

Experience with critical systems including UPS, generators, switch gear, transformers and power distribution.
Previous experience leading an engineering shift team within a critical or large commercial environment.
Excellent fault-finding, communication and problem-solving skills.
A proactive, customer-focused approach with a commitment to delivering exceptional engineering standards
