Pay: Our Tesco colleague rate of pay starts from £12.45 an hour; this increases to £13.66 for stores within the M25. Additional payments may also apply depending on location.

We offer a minimum guaranteed 16 hours each week. If you would like to work fewer hours – the minimum is 12 – we have opportunities for this too and would still love to hear from you.

Availability windows (you will work within these times with 3 weeks' notice of shifts):

• Tue: 06:00 – 17:00
• Wed: 06:00 – 17:00
• Thu: 06:00 – 17:00
• Fri: 06:00 – 17:00
• Sat: 06:00 – 17:00

• Know your customers and serve them with passion and pride.
• Be passionate and knowledgeable about the products and services within the store.
• Work across the store – service, picking and replenishment areas – where required.
• Apply training received so that all work is safe, effective and delivers customer service brilliantly.
• Make decisions that are right for customers, delivering routines that meet their needs at the right time.
• Take part in seasonal, community and charity events, creating a great inclusive atmosphere.
• Understand the store’s performance, what you can do to drive service and sales, reduce waste and shrink, and deliver profit.
• Handle products with care to maintain quality and ensure they reach customers in the best condition.
• Live Tesco values, make everyone feel welcome and always follow policies.
• At times, you may be required to accept deliveries into the store.

• Passion for delivering great service, greeting customers with a smile, and serving them with pride.
• Ability to build rapport with customers so they leave with a great shopping trip.
