Traveller Liaison Officer
📍 Brent, London
⏰ Full-Time | Hybrid Working
📅 3-Month Contract
💰 £22.41 per hour PAYE / £29.51 per hour Umbrella

We are recruiting for an experienced Traveller Liaison Officer to support the delivery of a high-quality housing management service across a Traveller site.

This is an excellent opportunity for a housing professional with strong tenancy management, resident engagement, and case management experience to make a real difference within a resident-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities

Manage a Traveller site, acting as the primary point of contact for residents.
Deliver a visible and proactive housing management service.
Manage licences from let through to re-let.
Support residents with tenancy sustainment, financial inclusion, and welfare benefits advice.
Carry out site inspections and monitor health and safety compliance.
Lead on anti-social behaviour case management and enforcement action where required.
Work closely with contractors and internal teams to ensure repairs and maintenance issues are resolved efficiently.
Build strong relationships with residents, community stakeholders, and partner agencies.
Maintain accurate case records and resident data.
Support vulnerable residents by connecting them with relevant support services.

About You

Experience in housing management, tenancy management, neighbourhood management or a similar housing-related role.
Strong understanding of housing legislation and welfare benefits.
Experience managing complex cases and challenging situations.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to work independently and manage a busy workload.
Knowledge of issues affecting Gypsy, Traveller and Roma communities would be advantageous.
Full UK Driving Licence.
Enhanced DBS required.
