Key Responsibilities – Class 2 HGV Beavertail Driver Role- Collect and deliver plant machinery and equipment safely and efficiently to customer sites, depots, and projects
- Secure all loads on the beaver tail truck, ensuring compliance with all road safety and load regulations
- Carry out thorough daily vehicle checks, promptly report any vehicle or equipment defects as per company procedures
- Complete all delivery and collection paperwork and digital records accurately
- Work closely and professionally with customers, site staff, and other Flannery colleagues to ensure excellent service at every stage
- Assist with basic familiarisation of plant equipment and attachments upon delivery as required
- Take part in in‑house plant training and development programmes to broaden skills and achieve further industry‑recognised certifications
- Consistently demonstrate Flannery’s commitment to safety, service, and operational excellence
- Valid Class 2 (Category
C) licence - Up-to‑date Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph card
- Good knowledge of road transport legislation and best practices for load security
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Safe, positive, and professional approach to all aspects of the role
- Reliability, punctuality, and willingness to work flexibly to meet operational and customer requirements
- Previous experience with delivering plant, construction, or heavy equipment is desirable but not essential
- Keen to develop and complete all required training for career advancement
