Position Summary: The Case Manager Lead provides a combination of case management and other clinical services, team leadership, and operational support to the assigned Crisis Services team. This position is responsible for ensuring high quality, age‑appropriate crisis intervention and supportive services are provided to individuals and families on a 24/7 basis. The Case Manager Lead provides clinical input, direction, and coaching within the professional standards of their credentials.
We are seeking two Case Manager Leads to join our team: one specializing in services for adults and another focusing on youth.
- Provides crisis intervention, stabilization, and case management services to clients out in the community or at a Catholic Charities clinic location.
- Assists clients with skill‑building and supports such as activities of daily living, psychosocial support, transportation, obtaining or maintaining housing, applying for benefits, and referrals to or assistance accessing other community resources.
- Coordinates treatment with and initiates referrals to other providers as appropriate.
- Completes progress notes and other required documentation within the required timeframe.
- Provides ongoing training, guidance, and field‑based coaching to staff on the assigned Crisis Services team to ensure exceptional care is provided timely and efficiently.
- Fosters teamwork, cooperation, and respectful communication between team members to develop a strong, thriving, positive, and effective team.
- Facilitates team meetings and client staffings as needed.
- Manages team schedules to ensure adequate 24‑hour staff coverage and reviews timecards.
- Models outstanding client care and guides team members to engage families in the therapeutic process and connect families with formal and informal community resources.
- Ensures that team members adhere to established procedures around clinical documentation.
- Leads efforts to promote a culture of privacy and security of Protected Health Information within a HIPAA covered organization, including educating staff on their responsibilities.
- Collaborates with the Crisis Lead Manager to provide input on performance reviews and address performance concerns.

Physical RequirementsThis position normally requires the physical demands of standing, walking, bending, lifting or performing other work requiring low physical exertion, talking, and hearing on a regular basis to perform the job requirements. These physical demands are required up to 80% of the time. Position also requires ability to drive with adequate vision and skill.
Non-Physical Requirements Education- Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, or related field required
- Two years of experience providing case management or direct support services required
- Experience providing crisis intervention services preferred
- Familiarity with the unique treatment needs of individuals in acute behavioral health distress, including youth-specific risk factors and interventions if assigned to the Youth Mobile Crisis Intervention team
- Self‑motivated with strong leadership and communication skills
- Demonstrates cultural competency and operates from a strength‑based, solution‑focused perspective in interactions with clients, coworkers, and community partners
- Registered Agency Affiliated Counselor (RAAC) credential with the Washington State Department of Health
- Valid Washington State driver's license and minimum required liability insurance
- Must be deemed insurable as determined by Catholic Charities' liability insurance provider
