The beginning salary range for this .5 FTE position is $2,513.17 - $2,248.98 (steps 2-4). This position is not eligible for Chelan County benefis. Successful applicant will accrue Washington Sick Leave. This position may be eligible for DRS—PERS benefits if grant is extended beyond initial funding period. This is a non-bargaining position.

Summary

The Therapeutic Court Coordinator/Recovery Support Navigator performs professional administrative and coordinative work of a complex nature for the superior court. The incumbent manages administrative operations of the adult felony drug court and other therapeutic interventions/support programs; provides case management services to program participants; conducts a variety of community outreach functions; prepares grant applications and administers funding; collects data and provides statistical analysis;

and provides support and coordination of resources and services to individuals living in the community on pre‑trial release and exiting jail custody.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. (This listing may not include all of the duties or tasks which may be required by this position.)

  • In conjunction with treatment court leadership, assist with development, implementation, coordination, and evaluation of effectiveness of therapeutic court programs, supports and interventions.
  • Facilitate the development and maintenance of program standards, operating procedures and rules. Research and implement new programs.
  • Create and maintain program data collection system; compile and analyze statistical data.
  • Manage the day‑to‑day operations and events of superior court therapeutic courts and recovery support/intervention programs as well as collaborate in the short‑ and long‑term strategic planning for those courts and programs.
  • Serve as the liaison for therapeutic court team members.
  • Maintain accurate, up‑to‑date and complete records of all participants and collateral contacts. Prepare regular status reports for court, attends all court proceedings and staffing meetings.
  • Facilitate and link participants with needed services based on treatment plans, community provider reports, basic life needs, and court ordered requirements.
  • Maintain regular contact with program participants to ensure successful participation in the program and their overall wellness. This may include coordinating and engaging in organized group activities.
  • Maintain connections with prior program participants and coordinate with them to provide peer recovery support services for current participants.
  • Plan, coordinate and facilitate treatment court incentive programs (phase‑ups, monthly drawings, etc.) and activities such as graduation ceremonies, annual picnics, and community outreach events.
  • Develop, implement and manage a therapeutic court alumni program.
  • Prepare, update and distribute policy and procedures manuals, forms and other materials as needed.
  • Stay abreast of best practices in therapeutic courts through attendance at relevant trainings and meetings.
  • Regularly report to the therapeutic court team on the program, best practices and other developments.
  • Assess individuals’ immediate and long‑term needs and goals for basic needs, housing, educational or vocational training, and employment.
  • Assist individuals in identifying recovery capital (personal, family/social and community), recovery barriers, and community resources.
  • Networking with counterparts statewide and representing the County on statewide work groups or committees.
