Conduct routine and complex laboratory tests (for diagnosis, treatment and prevention of disease), interpretation of test results, instrument operation, in addition to supporting clients as they access laboratory services. Oversees daily laboratory practices for assigned lab section such as, procedure documentation, quality assurance, quality control monitoring, instrument maintenance, competency and proficiency programs, staff training, and preparing for various certification, licensure and accreditation processes.

Laboratory Manager
Chemistry, Hematology, Immunology, Blood Banking, Microbiology, Molecular Biology, and Urinalysis.
Demonstrate Standards of Behavior and adhere to the Code of Conduct in all aspects of job performance at all times.
QualificationsRequired:
- A bachelor’s degree in a chemical, physical, biological or medical technology from an accredited institution, or equivalent education.
- Certification as MLS (ASCP), or MT (ASCP), or equivalent.
Desired:
- Two years of experience as a Medical Technologist or Medical Laboratory Scientist.
O = Occasional, represents 1 to 25% or up to 30 minutes in a 2 hour workday. F = Frequent, represents 26 to 50% or up to 1 hour of a 2 hour workday. C = Continuous, represents 51% to 100% or up to 2 hours of a 2 hour workday.
