General Radiologic Technologist

We are seeking a dedicated General Radiologic Technologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong skills in performing a variety of X-ray examinations and will ensure the highest standards of patient care and image quality.

  3 shifts per week (Friday-Sunday)
• Hours:
  
  1100 - 2330

• ARRT certification
• Washington State certification as a radiologic technologist, registered in X-Ray
• Experience with Shimadzu portable equipment
• Recent experience in C-arm OR procedures
• Familiarity with EPIC systems
• BLS certification

• Prepare for and perform all X-ray examinations, including routine, fluoroscopy, operating room, and portable imaging.
• Operate and efficiently utilize all X-ray equipment, ensuring adherence to procedures and protocols.
• Review and evaluate diagnostic images for technical quality and accuracy.
• Assist Radiologists in fluoroscopic procedures and perform minor procedures under their direction as required.
• Provide training and supervision to student technologists while assisting clinical instructors.
• Utilize PACS, RIS, and current EMR systems efficiently while completing necessary documentation for each examination.
• Comply with all ongoing education requirements set forth by regulatory bodies.
• Safely assist in lifting and transferring patients using proper ergonomic techniques and equipment as needed.
• Communicate effectively with patients' family members or caregivers when necessary.
• Adhere to the principles of ALARA, Image Gently, and Image Wisely to ensure patient safety.
