ResponsibilitiesReview and request records of a defendant in a state case involving breach of contract. Uncover records that the defendant refuses to disclose, including assets in Coinbase and Bitcoin accounts moved around (secrecy). Prepare a report disclosing the asset movement and any other relevant information for the court.
Requirements- Eligibility: NACVA member with a CFE credential or an associate seeking CFE.
- Prior experience in evidentiary financial investigations is a plus.
- Ability to work within a low to medium level of complication due to defendant and his daughter’s secretive nature.
The court has approved 20 hours of work for the expert.
