Progressive Care Unit - PCU RN - Travel Nurse
Immediate travel nurse opening in Wenatchee, WA. Ideal candidate has 1‑2 years recent acute care experience.
As a PCU travel nurse, you will care for patients who require close monitoring and frequent assessment, but aren’t unstable enough to need ICU care. You will monitor vital signs, interpret electronic displays, and respond to alerts.
Responsibilities- Change dressings, insert catheters, and start IVs.
- Prepare, administer, and record prescribed medication; report any adverse reactions.
- Monitor and adjust specialized equipment and interpret electronic displays.
- Initiate corrective action when monitoring indicates adverse symptomatology.
- Provide basic bedside care and stabilize critical cardiac patients.
1‑2 years recent acute care experience. RNs must be able to stand and walk for long periods, lift 20 lbs easily, and lift up to 50 lbs when necessary. Physical stamina and the ability to handle stress are essential.
Additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment.
CompensationUp to $2,524 per week.
