American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg position requiring WA State or Compact RN licensure and BLS/ACLS certification.

• Work in the Med/Surg (SOU) unit of a hospital setting
• Day/Evening shift, 3x12s, 36 hours per week,
• Required to float as a sitter
• May float between Mares and Central Campuses in rotation
• No on-call responsibilities

• Active WA State or Compact RN license required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Charge nurse experience preferred
• Must adhere to facility policies, unit standards, and the Washington Nurse Practice Act

• Coordinate and provide high-quality, compassionate patient care using the nursing process and unit standards
• Develop, implement, and continually reassess individualized patient care plans
• Administer medications and complete nursing procedures and treatments
• Perform holistic patient assessments and respond appropriately to changes in status
• Evaluate and update discharge plans based on patient needs
• Document care, assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately
• Educate patients and families on relevant health information
• Delegate and oversee care provided by non-licensed assistive personnel
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to maintain a clean, safe patient care environment
• Participate in ongoing performance evaluation and improvement processes
