On-Demand:
Guest Advocate (Cashier), General Merchandise, Fulfillment, Food and Beverage, Style (T1064). The Starting Hourly Rate is $17.75 USD per hour. The Pay Range is $17.75 USD - $26.65 USD per hour. This role is On-Demand, with schedule variability based on store needs and shift availability. If offered, you will be required to attend a Target Welcome orientation and participate in a short-term training before using the myTime scheduling app to pick shifts.

You can work as much or as little as you like. On-Demand Team Members (TM) may not be on the posted weekly schedule and select shifts via the myTime mobile app. Reliability and prompt attendance are essential, and there are ongoing expectations to engage and respond about shifts. If you do not respond or do not work a shift within defined time frames, employment may be terminated.

Guest Advocate roles focus on welcoming and assisting guests, promoting loyalty programs and store services, and delivering a high-quality guest experience at checklanes, guest services, and throughout the store.

As a Guest Advocate, you will have opportunities to develop skills including guest communication, problem solving, adaptability, and product/service education.

Key responsibilities typically include cash handling, assisting guests, knowledge of store tools and services, and ensuring a clean, safe store environment.

• Demonstrate a service culture and deliver the service standard to guests.
• Greet guests and assist with daily tasks to create a welcoming experience.
• Engage with guests to understand and resolve needs.
• Be knowledgeable about tools, products, and store services to resolve issues and improve the guest experience.
• Explain and promote Target benefits, loyalty programs, and fulfillment services; guide guests to enroll or use them.
• Assist with order pickup, drive-up, returns, and other services in compliance with policies.
• Operate checkout and cash handling efficiently and accurately; stock and maintain clean work areas.
• Maintain safety and compliance in all duties and be able to respond to hazards appropriately.
• Support cash office processes as needed and assist with other duties based on business needs.

• You are open to a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, holidays, and peak times.
• Strong communication skills and a helpful, team-oriented attitude.
• Ability to multi-task with attention to detail and maintain composure under pressure.

• Effective communication and positive guest interactions.
• Ability to operate handheld scanners and other technology; work independently or as part of a team.
• Willingness to educate guests about products and services and assist with sign-ups where applicable.
• Capacity to lift up to 44 pounds with or without assistance and work in varying store temperatures.
