Nurse LPN/RN Outpatient job at Compass Health Network. Wentzville, MO.
Compensation: $29.37/hr (LPN) - $35.00/hr (RN)
Due to the critical service needs of the communities we serve, we are offering a $4000 sign-on bonus.
* We are committed to providing quality and compassionate care and invite you to join our team. This outpatient nursing position involves running a medication clinic and acting as a case manager, with a schedule of Monday through Friday, 10-hour shifts from Monday to Thursday, and a rotating weekend schedule (approximately 2-3 times per year).
Essential Functions
- Plan, organize, and coordinate medication clinics
- Assist in other clinics and regions as cross-trained, with travel coordinated by supervisor
- Review medication education forms with clients and manage medication refills
- Complete documentation for medication clinics and psychiatric consultations in EHR
- Administer IM medications, dispense samples, and maintain logs
- Assist with prior authorizations and manage injection lists
- Perform vital signs, coordinate pre-diabetes screenings, and use computer systems effectively
Working Conditions & Exposure Risks
- Exposure to blood, body fluids, biohazardous materials, fumes, gases, and medications
Qualifications
- High School/GED required
- Practical Nursing certificate required
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred
- Valid MO driver's license and automobile insurance
- RN/LPN license or GNGPN that passes MO NCLEX within 90 days of graduation
