They design, install, and maintain complete electrical systems, ranging from power management and navigation equipment to automation, lighting, and smart onboard technologies.

A newly established division is currently delivering a major shipbuilding program involving the construction of luxury river cruise vessels for one of the world's leading cruise operators. This long-term project offers the opportunity to contribute to technically advanced vessels where comfort, safety, automation, and maritime systems are fully integrated.

Vacancy information
As a Project Engineer Electrical Engineering, you will take technical ownership of the complete electrical scope of large-scale shipbuilding projects. You will be responsible for engineering, coordination, technical documentation, and supporting the realization of sophisticated electrical installations on board luxury river cruise vessels.

With project values ranging from €4 million to €6 million per vessel, this position offers substantial responsibility and a direct impact on project success.

Key Responsibilities

Design and engineer complete electrical installations

Develop lighting, automation, power distribution, and navigation system designs

Prepare technical documentation and project specifications

Coordinate with project managers, suppliers, and production teams

Support commissioning, testing, and troubleshooting activities onboard

Act as the primary technical point of contact throughout the project

Ensure technical quality, planning, and engineering standards are maintained

What do you need
What We’re Looking For

Experience as an Electrical Engineer or Project Engineer

Background in industrial, marine, offshore, or electrical engineering projects

Strong sense of ownership and responsibility

Excellent communication and coordination skills

Ability to manage multiple technical disciplines within larger projects

Professional proficiency in both Dutch and English

Experience with maritime electrical systems, power management, navigation systems, automation, or shipbuilding projects is considered a strong advantage.
