Mission

The Director of Workday ERP Applications is responsible for the operational management of the Workday platforms. This role oversees system upgrades, security, reporting, integrations, documentation, user support, disaster recovery, and system uptime.

Oversee team of 4‑5 managers, administrators, and developers.

This is a full‑time (remote/on‑site) position based in Texas, with preference given to candidates who live in Austin, El Paso, Houston, Permian Basin (Midland/Odessa), Rio Grande Valley, San Antonio, and Tarrant County (Fort Worth), or who are willing to relocate.

Up to 10% during the busiest times of year for conferences, trainings, and team step‑backs.

• Lead planning and execution of Workday bi‑annual releases and feature adoption.
• Coordinate testing, validation, and deployment of new functionality across HCM and Financials.
• Manage Workday security roles, domain and business process security policies.
• Ensure compliance with internal audit and external regulatory requirements.
• Oversee development of Workday reports, dashboards, and analytics.
• Oversee all ERP integrations.
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and timely delivery to stakeholders.

• Maintain comprehensive documentation of Workday configurations, integrations, and business processes.
• Lead Workday support operations including issue resolution, service requests, and user assistance.
• Monitor SLAs and user satisfaction metrics to drive continuous improvement.
• Develop and maintain Workday disaster recovery plans and procedures.
• Oversee system performance and uptime, ensuring availability meets or exceeds SLAs.
• Coordinate with IT infrastructure teams to ensure business continuity and failover readiness.

• Bachelor’s degree required, preferably with a major in information systems or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job in lieu of a degree.
