Optometrist - Full-time (FLOAT) - OD/MD Medical Private Practice (Great Bonus Structure) - Wesley Chapel, FL

We are a private OD/MD practice that is well respected in the Tampa Bay, FL area . We handle a high volume of surgery in our community and are searching for a fantastic new OD to join and practice full-scope care and this candidate would need to float to our 4 locations in the Tampa Bay area.

What You’ll Need:

• Doctor of Optometry (O.D.) Degree
• Valid FL state license to practice optometry (or pending)
• Interest or familiarity with ocular disease including treating and diagnosing
• Comfortable with a high paced volume and working alongside other MDs
• A residency
• Our ideal candidate has good rapport with staff and patients and someone who is able to correctly diagnose patients

Why Work Here?

Exposure: You will gain exposure to a wide range of eye care and vision needs in our full-scope practice with an emphasis on medical optometry. Our ODs see some of the MD’s post-operative care in addition to providing comprehensive routine and medical care to diagnose the patient to refer to the MD's at the practice.

Environment: As an OD in our practice you will have the support of a full staff comprised of technicians, Opticians, and front desk support. We are equipped with an OCT, visual field, topography, and any equipment our physicians need to practice full scope.

Schedule: Our full-time doctors work a standard 8 AM to 5 PM, Tuesday to Saturday with Sunday and Monday off. Our OD will work one day a week at each of our locations and that is scheduled in advance for the OD.
