The Executive Director, Nursing and Allied Health Advancement Institute will be responsible for leading the strategic alliance between Pasco-Hernando State College (PHSC) and community health care partners, serving as the visionary leader responsible for shaping the direction and goals of the Institute to lay the foundation for expanded educational and employment opportunities in the nursing and allied health fields.

- Establish and foster strong partnerships with Community Health Care Partners, such as Moffitt Cancer Center, HCA Healthcare, Advent Health, Bay Care, Orlando Health, VA Hospitals, and others, to establish mutually beneficial partnerships aimed at addressing workforce needs and advancing healthcare education.
- Develop a collaborative network focused on addressing workforce development needs in alignment with the vision, mission, and strategic objectives of the Nursing and Allied Health Advancement Institute.
- Seek input from community partners regarding their educational program needs and inform academic deans, as applicable, to inform new program development and innovative initiatives that are responsive to communicated needs.
- Collaborate with academic leadership at Pasco-Hernando State College, including deans, department chairs, and other relevant academic administrators, to identify opportunities for interdisciplinary collaboration and program development within the healthcare education sector.
- Work collaboratively with Human Resources and departments to develop strategies for recruiting highly qualified faculty to teach in nursing and allied health programs, integrating scholarship opportunities and incentives.
- Provide ongoing support and professional development opportunities to faculty members, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.
- Engage with local healthcare organizations, government agencies, and educational institutions to cultivate partnerships and address healthcare disparities.
- Represent the Institute at community events and conferences, promoting collaboration and awareness of nursing and allied health initiatives.
- Oversee the allocation of resources to support program development, faculty recruitment, and student success initiatives.
- In collaboration with the Legal division, develop strategic partnership agreements with the private sector, formalizing the work to be completed and emphasizing the necessity of contributing financially and to the expertise of the Institute.
- Explore potential partnerships with healthcare insurance, pharmaceutical, and medical supply companies to leverage resources and expertise in support of the Institute's mission and goals.
- Foster alliance agreements within PHSC and private colleges to promote cross-institutional collaboration and resource sharing in healthcare education and workforce development.
- Master's degree in a healthcare-related field such as Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or Public Health.
- Minimum of 7 years of progressive leadership experience in healthcare education, administration, or related field.
