Occupational Therapist Pool – Wesley Chapel Hospital

Bay Care Health System, one of the largest employers in the Tampa Bay area, seeks a compassionate and skilled PRN/Pool Occupational Therapist to join our acute care team. The role provides high‑quality, patient‑centered therapy services to individuals with a variety of medical conditions in a fast‑paced hospital setting.

• Evaluate patients’ functional abilities and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Deliver evidence‑based occupational therapy interventions to support recovery and improve independence in activities of daily living.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, case managers, and other rehab professionals to ensure coordinated care.
• Document evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries in accordance with hospital and regulatory standards.
• Educate patients and families on therapeutic techniques, adaptive equipment, and discharge planning.
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies, infection control procedures, and safety standards.

• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• OT (Occupational Therapy)
• Or OT (Occupational Therapy) Eligible to Obtain
• Required:
  
  Bachelor’s in Occupational Therapy
• Preferred: 1 year of Occupational Therapy experience
