Location: Wesley Chapel Hospital – 4501 Bruce

B. Downs Blvd, Wesley Chapel, FL

Shift: 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM (Occasional weekend requirement, not on call, always in person)

• RN (Registered Nurse) License
• Diploma, Associate’s, Bachelor's or Higher in Nursing
• 2-year experience in the emergency department
• BLS certification with the American Red Cross or American Heart Association
• ACLS certification with the American Heart Association
• PALS certification with the American Heart Association

• Works in a hospital setting and independently cares for a group of patients consistently using the nursing process and clinical standards
• Delegates appropriate patient care activities to other members of the health care team
• Organizes and prioritizes and updates plan of care in collaboration with patients, family and significant others
• Identifies patients at risk for injury regarding diagnosis, medication, procedure, age, etc., and prepares room environment
• Monitors, records, and updates care team on patient vitals and assessments
• Identifies sudden or subtle changes in a patient’s medical condition
• Responds to medical emergencies for critical patients
• Uses high emotional intelligence to create a positive patient care experience, simplifying medical terminology and concepts to the patient
