St. Luke’s Cataract & Laser Institute in Tarpon Springs, FL (The Villages location) is seeking a Part‑Time APRN or Physician Assistant to join our team in delivering exceptional eye‑care services.

The ideal candidate will be comfortable performing physical exams to determine if the patient is suitable for outpatient surgery, preparing patients for surgery, creating a safe and effective environment, and promoting health and well‑being. This is a fast‑paced, minimally invasive eye‑surgery role.

• Prepare patients for surgery
• Verify patient information via interview, review medical history, take vital signs, and confirm purpose of visit
• Complete physical exams to determine patient eligibility prior to outpatient surgery
• Educate patients as needed
• Record patient examination, treatment, and test results in the electronic health record

• Licensed to practice in the state of Florida
• Availability Monday–Friday with a 7 am start time
• Ophthalmology experience preferred but not required
• Excellent interpersonal, customer service, and communication skills
• Ability to multitask with attention to detail
• Proficiency with EHR, Excel, and Word
• Ability to stand, sit, and walk frequently
• Maintain discretion, accuracy, and confidentiality with all patients
