The Food & Beverage team ensures a consistent experience for our guests by maintaining product freshness, stock levels, accurate pricing, and proper signage. They lead food and beverage operations including replenishment, inventory accuracy, food safety, presentation, and promotional signing across the store.

The role of a Starbucks Barista can help you build skills and experience in:

• Providing a consistent Starbucks experience with high-quality, fresh food and beverages
• Adhering to state and federal food safety and OSHA guidelines

• Deliver an exceptional guest experience by maintaining a welcoming environment and prioritizing guest needs
• Maintain and execute Food & Beverage standards
• Handle food deliveries, replenishment, inventory routines, cleaning, and organization
• Stay informed about current and upcoming Starbucks promotions
• Support the Drive Up process for digital orders
• Create a clean and inviting dining space
• Engage with guests to meet and exceed expectations
• Prepare handcrafted beverages and food according to recipes
• Follow food safety protocols, including temperature monitoring
• Complete cleaning and sanitation tasks
• Identify and manage damaged, recalled, or expired items
• Manage inventory and in-store ordering accurately
• Participate in sampling and promotional activities
• Utilize store tools and products to assist guests and improve service
• Complete required training and certifications
• Maintain a culture of safety, ethics, and compliance
• Work safely, report hazards, and adhere to safety policies
• Support guest services such as cashiering, order pickup, and Drive Up
• Create a welcoming atmosphere, greet guests, and thank them for their patronage
• Perform other duties as needed

This job is suitable if you enjoy helping others, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and are flexible with your schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Prior experience is preferred but not required. Key skills include excellent communication, attention to detail, teamwork, and problem-solving.

• Ability to handle cash operations
• Physical ability to climb ladders, lift up to 44 pounds, and work in varying temperatures and environments
• Reliable attendance and flexibility for shifts
