Position Summary
A Shift Supervisor is a key leader supporting the CVS Store Management team in driving store execution and performance while building consumer loyalty to CVS/pharmacy through a focus on excellent customer service. When no manager or Operations Supervisor is onsite, the Shift Supervisor leads store staff, ensures smooth store operations and is responsible for completing all opening and closing procedures.
Essential Functions- Manage and supervise store crew to ensure completion of all store operating procedures.
- Communicate and coordinate with store management and store crew regarding store operations and performance.
- Deliver excellent customer service to all CVS customers (greet, offer help, thank).
- Handle customer relations issues in accordance with company policy and promote a positive shopping experience.
- Maintain confidentiality of customer/patient information.
- Price merchandise, stock shelves and execute displays, signs and inventory of weekly, promotional and seasonal merchandise.
- Reset departments following POGs and maintain proper merchandise presentation.
- Deductive reasoning ability, analytical skills and computer skills.
- Advanced communication skills and supervision skills.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including early morning, overnight and weekend shifts, overtime as needed, and respond to urgent store issues.
- Experience as a retail supervisor.
High School Diploma or Equivalent (preferred but not required).
Pay Range$16.50 - $24.00 per hour.
