The Retail Associate ensures customers have a positive shopping experience. The Associate smiles, greets customers, treats fellow associates with respect, follows company best practices, maintains a clean work area, and ensures proper merchandise presentation. The Retail Associate is engaged in assigned tasks during all working hours and performs a range of functions across the store as business needs require.

• Practices safe behaviors and maintains a safe shopping environment.
• Maintains clutter‑free sales floor and clears emergency exits.
• Treats customers and associates with respect and courtesy.
• Assists customers at the register and elsewhere, answering questions politely.
• Provides prompt responses to customer service calls.
• Supports the company brand at all times.
• Performs cleaning tasks: sweeping, mopping, dusting, wiping counters and mirrors, replenishing restroom supplies, disinfecting high‑touch areas.
• Maintains professional appearance and adheres to dress code.
• Performs daily sizing and recovery to keep store organized.
• Expedites merchandise receipts and merchandises items per guidelines.
• Understands loss prevention and merchandise protection standards.
• Safeguards confidential information and cash/credit card information.
• Follows mark‑out‑of‑stock policies and cash transaction procedures.
• Demonstrates urgency to maximize productivity.

• Effectively communicates with customers, associates, and store leadership.
• Performs basic mathematical calculations common in retail.

• Uses all store equipment, including PDA, registers, and PC.
• Spends 100% of working time standing, walking, and moving around the store.
• Bends, squats, kneels, climbs, carries, reaches, and stoops regularly.
• Pops, pulls, and lifts more than 25 pounds occasionally.
• Uses janitorial equipment and other supplies.
• Stockroom shifts involve push, pull, and lift over 20 pounds.
