Overview
The Associate is responsible for completing in‑store food and non‑food demonstrations. The Associate acquires and maintains knowledge of products, prepares, serves, and breaks down product, equipment, and supplies. They intercept consumers and demonstrate products in a professional manner while maintaining overall professional appearance consistent with the job requirements.
Responsibilities- Proactively intercept, engage, interact, and sell products to consumers in a positive manner.
- Effectively communicate the features and benefits of the product.
- Prepare and serve food samples using small appliances such as microwaves, fryers, skillets, coffee makers, and knives.
- Maintain a clean, sterile, and safe workstation using cleaning chemicals.
- Maintain a professional appearance consistent with the requirements of the job.
- Properly set up and prepare the event table for execution.
- Achieve 100% execution on assigned work.
- Assist with preparation for client visits and complete audit corrections.
- Build and maintain rapport with store personnel to effectively meet company and client objectives.
- Complete expense reports as per company policy.
- Accurately prepare and submit all online requirements on the same day as event execution.
- Access the internet, navigate company electronic systems, use Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Word, and Adobe PDF forms.
- Education/
Experience:
High school diploma or GED; 1–3 months related experience/training preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience. - Computer
Skills:
Proficient in using a personal computer or mobile device for applications and internal systems. - Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Local food handlers permit may be required.
- Physical Demands: Stand, walk, use hands and fingers, reach overhead up to 65 inches, talk, hear, read instructions, stoop, kneel, squat, climb/step up a ladder, balance, lift and carry up to 25 pounds (occasionally up to 50 pounds), push and pull a wheeled demonstration cart, prepare foods and beverages, and contact cleaning supplies.

Individuals must maintain a professional appearance and grooming. Specific retailer dress code requirements are included in training documents.
