Job Description If you are an enthusiastic self‑starter with a passion for cars, we want you to be part of our team as a Sales Specialist. The ideal candidate is comfortable relating to guests, knowledgeable about vehicles and services, and skilled in presenting our inventory and financing options. A professional appearance, excellent customer‑service skills, and an outgoing personality are essential. Spanish speaking is a plus.
Responsibilities- Welcomes guests with a prompt, enthusiastic greeting and accompanies them on a tour of the dealership.
- Determines guests’ needs by conducting a needs assessment.
- Present inventory thoroughly, providing in‑depth explanations and overcoming objections.
- Initiate trade‑in appraisal steps.
- Offer demonstration drives and feature/benefit presentations, answering any questions.
- Introduce purchasing guests to the Dimmitt Service Department.
- Engage guests in vehicle delivery, ensuring familiarity with operations and features.
- Serve as the main point of contact for future product questions.
- Track changing vehicle market conditions, values, activities, and incentives.
- Stay informed about incoming inventory, features, accessories, and technology.
- Participate in special events such as auto shows and other brand‑representative opportunities.
- Attend new‑vehicle meetings as required.
- Commit to achieving team and personal objectives.
- Utilise the CRM and maintain documented plans to accomplish daily, monthly, and annual objectives, including recording all guest visits.
- Follow an effective prospecting system daily, using a variety of contacts, including follow‑up contacts with prior purchasers.
- High school diploma or GED; some education beyond high school preferred.
- Auto sales experience with verifiable proof of meeting sales targets.
- Ability to build relationships with guests, associates, and leadership at all levels.
- Passionate, energetic, and innovative team member focused on quality and service.
- Professional image and positive attitude.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including active listening.
- Self‑motivated with a willingness to continuously prospect and maintain client relationships.
- Spanish speaking a plus.
