DescriptionThe Lifestyle Concierge greets visitors, assists members with questions and concerns, performs general administration, and plans lifestyle/social events. The role ensures a full range of programs, from fitness classes and wellness seminars to spa and sports court programming, and promotes community relations.
Starting pay rate: $17 an hour, weekend availability required.
Duties and Responsibilities- Greets members and guests at entrance, checks , and assists with event set‑ups.
- Responds promptly to communications and follows through on commitments.
- Provides outstanding, professional and courteous service to members, guests, vendors and other departments.
- Responds calmly and tactfully to problem situations and discusses concerns constructively.
- Answers questions about the Lifestyles program and recommends events, shows and functions for members to attend.
- Writes routine reports and correspondence and speaks effectively before groups of customers or employees.
- Maintains a safe and friendly environment for members, guests and staff.
- Works as a team with the Lifestyles department to create fun and exciting programs and promotes events, activities and functions offered throughout the Amenity Campus.
- Assists with room set‑up and break‑down for events and when facilities are used.
- Assists Lifestyle Manager with preparations of all events, promotions and functions, including set‑up and breakdown of props as directed.
- Performs light housekeeping duties such as stocking restroom facilities, cleaning glass, fitness equipment and trash collection when applicable.
- Inspects grounds—including pool deck, sports courts, parking lots and boat dock—for litter and activity.
- Notifies the proper department and Management Team of any areas that need attention.
- Understands emergency preparedness and responds appropriately to all emergencies.
- Replenishes desk forms (orientation packages, ARC applications, class sign‑in forms, others).
- Prepares monthly reports and vendor check requests as needed.
- Increases programming attendance by accurately recording member and guest attendance.
- Establishes and maintains staff schedules and communicates with independent contractor scheduling.
- Reads and interprets documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Answers telephone calls and greets members and prospective buyers in the Sales Gallery.
- Maintains a calendar of event registration for members.
- Creates and updates records ensuring accuracy and validity of the information.
- Performs administrative tasks as needed.
- Assists in the preparation of articles and calendar of events for the Lifestyle Magazine.
- Contacts facility members and guests about new and exciting programs for lifestyle.

- Conducts and participates in scheduled programs, involving intermittent sitting, standing, bending, stooping, walking, climbing stairs, and lifting objects up to 50 lbs frequently.

- Vision required for close work.
- Noise level is considered moderate.
- Uses hands and arms frequently.
- Occasionally sits, stoops, kneels, crouches or crawls.
Requires very flexible availability, including nights, weekends and some holidays. Works indoors and outdoors at the Sales Gallery or Resort Amenity Center. Possible exposure to sharp equipment, sharp utensils, harmful chemicals or solvents if proper safety procedures are not followed.
