Quality Engineer

Job Description

Job Summary: We are seeking a proactive and detail‑oriented Quality Engineer to drive continuous improvement initiatives and ensure product and process quality in our manufacturing operations.

• Lead and support Quality improvement projects across manufacturing processes to reduce internal defects, supplier defects, customer quality escapes, and enhance customer satisfaction.

• 1-2 years of Manufacturing Quality improvement experience with an Engineering degree OR 3 Plus years of experience with an associate degree from Technical Community College. Fresh graduates interested in developing a career in Quality will also be considered.
• Knowledge of quality tools such as APQP, FMEA, CTQ, SPC, 8D, 5 Why, Fishbone Analysis, Pareto, and control charts are a plus.
• Experience in Sheet Metal Fabrication, Welding, Paint and Electrical/Mechanical Assembly processes is a plus.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools (MS Excel, Minitab, or similar);
  Experience with ERP systems (e.g., Epicor) and SharePoint is a plus.
• Excellent communication, problem‑solving, and project management skills.
• Certification (CQE, Six Sigma Green/Black Belt) is a plus.
• Fluent in English, additional languages like Spanish an advantage.
